This year, the Conference Planning Branch in conjunction with the ATI Board decided to split the Annual Conference and General Meeting into an in-person Conference and an entirely online Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM will take place on November 9th, 10th, 16th, and 17th. Click here for more information about the 2024 AGM. We will spend a limited amount of time at the in-person Conference introducing the year’s proposals and enhancing members’ familiarity with our remarkable Formal Consensus process.

Please review all information about the conference before registering.

Registration is Closed.

Venue Information

The Site Committee is excited to invite ATI members and guests to Gaunts House for the in-person 2024 Annual Conference. Gaunts is known for profound inner listening and learning, personal development, spiritual enquiry and exchange, different yogas, service, creativity, laughter, silence - education. It is quite usual for guests to say that Gaunts feels like their second home, that their time here has been amongst their happiest and most fulfilling. We hope you can join us in this beautiful place to explore and celebrate the Alexander Technique!

Gaunts House is located in Wimborne, Dorset in southwest England. This venue specializes in hosting educational courses and events, and will be quite suitable for the 2024 ATI Annual Conference.

Meals and Diets:

The meals at Gaunts House by default are entirely vegetarian. If you prefer to have a fish or poultry/fowl option, there will be an additional $6 charge per meal. When you register for the conference, there is a list of different meat options you can select. In your registration form, please be specific about any and all dietary needs you have. Special requests for meal accommodations must be made by October 1, 2024.

Lodging at Gaunts House:

Certain lodging options at Gaunts House are quite limited. There are many lodging options below. All lodging fees are PER PERSON and include meals and snacks for the duration of the conference. The day at Gaunts starts at 3:30pm each day. This means if you come Friday, you will get dinner on Friday as it is after 3:30pm. Check in is between 3:30pm-6pm.

Please note the following rooming descriptions below so you can make your lodging selections according to your needs and preferences.

  • Twin Rooms: Two twin-sized beds per room (shared room with another attendee and shared bathroom facilities)
  • Twin Ensuite Room: Two twin-sized beds per room with a private bathroom in the room (shared room with another attendee)
  • Single Room: A single twin bed (not a shared room, but shared bathroom facilities)
  • Single Ensuite Room: A single twin bed with a private bathroom in the room (not a shared room or bathroom)
  • Double Room: A room with a bed for 2 people, shared bathroom (good for families/partners/attendees willing to share a double-sized bed)
  • Double Ensuite Room: A room with a bed for 2 people and a private bathroom in the room
  • Upgraded Single Ensuite: A larger updated single ensuite room
  • Upgraded Double Ensuite: A larger updated double ensuite room

For the rooms with shared bathroom facilities, there are adequate toilet and shower stalls to comfortably accommodate the attendees. If you select a shared room and prefer to share a room with a specific attendee, there will be a place to note their name in the registration form.

Pricing Per Option
Prices are listed per night for 3+ nights and are listed PER PERSON, not per room as the cost includes meals.

  • Twin Room: $147/night/person
  • Twin Ensuite Room: $161/night/person
  • Double Room: $161/night/person
  • Double Ensuite Room: $167/night/person
  • Upgraded Double Ensuite Room: $174/night/person

NOTE: The cost is per person NOT per room, even if sharing a room (with a spouse or other) and that is because it includes your breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner costs together.

Please note: There is a 2-night minimum to stay overnight at Gaunts House. There is a $20/night increase for anyone staying only 2 nights for each lodging option. If you are only staying for 2 nights, you will be charged the difference before the start of the conference.

The following rooms are already full and no longer available:

  • FULL: Single Room: $167
  • FULL: Single Ensuite Room: $174
  • FULL: Upgraded Single Ensuite Room: $180

NOTE: There are no further options to book them for all days of the Annual Conference. If you see them available on the registration form, it is just for the day listed. For example, there are spots for JUST Tuesday night in an upgraded single ensuite, but not forFriday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. It would be best to pick another option.

Anyone who registers to the conference can cancel the registration for a full refund up until October 1, 2024. Starting October 2, ATI is unable to provide refunds due to the expenses incurred by our contract with Gaunts House.
