Brief Description of Event:
This workshop is designed to support teachers in taking care of their voices and themselves while teaching by developing healthy vocal habits to improve vocal stamina and clarity. This will include work with breathing, posture, and overall balance to develop a strategy for vocal health. In this workshop you will receive individual attention and feedback on your habits and practice speaking in front of a group. You will also review how to recuperate at the end of the teaching day.This workshop takes place on Sunday, October 6th from 1-4pm ET. The Balance Arts Center is an approved provider of Continuing Teacher & Leader Education Credits for NY State Teachers.

Workshop Fee: $100
