Brief Description of Event:
This is a pair of workshops for students at all levels with special interest for teachers and trainees. We have all used Body-Mapping in our teaching for decades. This is an great opportunity to increase your skill with this essential tool. All of us are experienced teaching in groups and applying the Technique to activities, specialized and everyday. We are expert in singing, music making, theater, and dance and in working with health professionals and students with physical challenges. We have all worked in higher education and know a lot about integrating the Alexander Technique into a university curriculum. We are all trained in energy work and have unique insight in communicating directly with the students’ nervous systems. All this is based in a solid understanding of classical Alexander work developed by our study with Marjorie Barstow, along with work with many other distinguished teachers. We hope you and your students will join us at one or both of these unique workshops.
