Info: www.thepoiseproject.org/at4pdbasictraining —— For Alexander professionals and trainees to understand the complexities of working with people living with Parkinson’s and their families, helping them to better manage their motor and non-motor symptoms and improve their quality of life. Parkinson’s is a global epidemic that estimates 15.6 million people living with PD in 2030, 20.4 million in 2040, and 25.2 million by 2050. This in-depth training builds on ten years of collaboration with clinicians, researchers, people with lived experience, and senior AT teachers. It includes 13 hours of recorded group sessions, 4 hours of live sessions with instructor, and ongoing access to materials and outreach promotional tools. All funds support The Poise Project's ongoing advocacy, research, and accessible program delivery.
