2022 Annual Conference:
ATI on rise ……

August 18-21, 2022

The 2022 ACGM will be held in the beautiful Hotel Müggelsee on the lake shore close to Berlin. We will celebrate with great enthusiasm the 30th anniversary of ATI.

Starting with 28 inspired founding members and AT teachers, ATI has evolved into a professional organization committed to supporting its members and promoting the Alexander Technique worldwide.

The original group created the vision/mission for ATI to continue the collegial spirit of the congresses. Their intention was to be international and develop professional standards of teaching and a qualitative teaching certification system. They wanted to bring AT to the world and research how AT might interact with other disciplines. Eckhart Schopf gave us our name.

There have been ups and downs during these 30 years, but the downs were all overcome by the spirit of A.R. Alexander’s, “Stick to principles and all will open up like a great cauliflower.” Inclusiveness, never giving up, and service by its members has created a dynamic organization in our first thirty years. It will guide us in our next thirty.

Join us next August in Germany for the ACGM before the 12th Int. AT Congress in Berlin.

Let’s come together

  • to celebrate the founding of ATI and our 30 years of existence.
  • to participate in workshops given by ATI founding members
  • to develop future ideas.
  • to enjoy being together with some of the founding members of ATI along with our current worldwide membership.
